His working life has been in real estate and housing. For the past half decade, he has worked at a provincial crown organization, where he negotiates leases and agreements, carries out feasibility and due diligence on land transactions, and works with non-profit societies, Indigenous communities and local governments on housing sites. These are some of the vital steps required to get actual housing units built.
Dan has held membership with CentreBC since its founding and served on the provincial executive as the party’s Communications Chair. He believes housing, transportation and wildfire preparedness are engineering and budgeting problems rather than partisan ones, and that the Sea to Sky corridor — from West Vancouver, Lions Bay and Bowen Island to Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton — needs a representative who understands how things actually get built.
As CentreBC’s candidate for West Vancouver–Sea to Sky, Dan is focused on homes that people who work in the corridor can afford, a safer and more reliable Highway 99, dependable health care close to home, wildfire-ready communities and responsible provincial budgets. Outside work he is a gardener and an outdoors enthusiast who plays tennis and golf, cycles, swims, and climbs.
