Kris Baker is a fourth-year Accounting & Finance Student at Camosun with the goal to become a CPA in the Greater Victoria Area.
Kris has worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 years, during which he oversaw inventory ordering, staff hiring & training, scheduling and day-to-day financials.
As the Financial Agent for CentreBC, he applies the principles for financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and strict adherence to the BC Elections Act.
Kris also aligns with CentreBC’s goal of long-term fiscal health and oversight of expenditures to protect the integrity, transparency, objectivity and consistency of financial reports.
Kris enjoys camping, hiking and biking around Vancouver Island and hopes to one day own property near the ocean.
Kris lives in Langford, BC with his fiancée and two cats.
