Shelly has worked in the political sphere for several years. Starting out as a constituency assistant to an MLA in Kamloops, Shelly saw first hand the needs of everyday British Columbians. This made her passionate about provincial politics and motivated her to do her best to assist anyone who came through the constituency office doors.
Shelly eventually made her way to work at the BC Legislature as an assistant for several MLAs in the Opposition Caucus.
In addition to serving as Provincial Chair for CentreBC, Shelly also sits as the riding association president for the Langford-Highlands riding. Having just turned 30, Shelly is motivated to help amplify CentreBC’s message, specifically to millennials, gen Z, and future voters. She believes that participating in the political sphere is the best way to affect change in our province.
Shelly lives in Langford, BC with her fiancee and two cats.
